For a number of years there was an annual seasonal album of groups from this area. Christmas in the Northwest raised and continues to raise a lot...
With the addition of Mike McCoy in 2004 and Karl Olsen in 2008, The Brothers Four have returned to the spirit the group was founded on over fifty years ago. While the music is delivered with a certain polished professionalism it is the joy and sense of discovering the American spirit in song that one takes away from a Brothers Four performance.
The achievements of the group are well documented. There is their #1 song, "Green Fields," their Academy Award nominated song, "The Green Leaves of Summer," five White House performances, 50 years of bringing the American Songbook to the world especially to Japan.
Whether singing "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" at the DMZ between South and North Korea, being one of the first American groups to perform in Mainland China, or making their 50th trip to Japan, The Brothers Four continue to represent a spirit of America and American music.
